At Jillian Rian’s Dance School, we always put the love of dance first. We teach the foundations of dance technique while building confidence and artistry along the way. Students from all over the Cleveland, Ohio area study here and stay with the program as they grow up, making lifelong friendships that are more like family than classmates.

My daughter started taking dance at JRDS her kindergarten year after begging to take dance for years. She is now going into 5th grade and looking to take more classes. My daughter made Jillian Rian’s Dance School her home-away-from-home when she was only 4 and looks forward to being there straight through to her senior solo. From the very beginning basics, Robin taught the girls in a personable, fun, and friendly setting with as much 1-on-1 coaching as they needed in class. Our daughters have been dancing at Jillian Rian’s Dance School for the last nine years. Their experience at the studio has not only made them wonderful dancers but better people too. Miss Robin, the other teachers and students have been role models for them as they have grown up at JRDS. Miss Robin and her staff are talented and thoughtful of how the JRDS dancers present themselves on stage—always professional and appropriate.

My daughter has been attending Jillian Rian’s Dance School since she was three years old and is now thirteen. Robin Sykes is an extremely talented and dedicated dance teacher with an obvious passion for dance. She has taught my daughter to dance to the best of her ability in spite of her ADHD, and has shown patience and encouragement throughout the years. My daughter’s ability and confidence in dance has grown tremendously due to the encouragement and inspiration that Robin provides. The entire teaching staff that work with Robin are great role models for young people who wish to dance.

Jillian Rian’s Dance School has been an absolute joy! My daughter will be starting her ninth year here this fall, and we couldn’t be happier. It’s amazing to watch the dancers’ progression from the beginning of the year, all the way through to the professional recital production at the end. Miss Robin has passed on to my daughter her love of dance. So much so, in fact, that Kaitlyn aspires to become a studio owner/instructor one day. Aside from learning just about every style of dance offered at the studio, she has also learned the importance of teamwork and dependability. And the wonderful, lasting friendships are a nice bonus! Thank you, Miss Robin!

Our daughter has been a student at Jillian Rian’s Dance School since she was in preschool.  She is now in eighth grade.  We have met and become friends with so many wonderful families throughout our time at JRDS and these friendships will last well beyond our “dancing years.”  Through dance at JRDS, our daughter has become a more confident person who understands the importance of working hard and perseverance both in dance and in life. The teachers at JRDS are committed to helping each student become the best dancer and person they can be. Thank you JRDS for such a wonderful experience for our daughter!

My daughter, Megan, just danced in her 13th dance recital at Jillian Rian’s.  She has found a passion for the arts, self confidence & life-long friends at what she considers her second home.  Very thankful the decision was made to purchase that first pair of tap shoes when she was 3 1/2!

Jillian Rians Dance School is located in North Ridgeville, Ohio. We were founded in 1997 and currently going into our 27th year of business! We are a family owned business that all started with a dream of young girl who had a passion for dance. Robin Sykes has been the proud owner, director and teacher for many generations that have come through our doors. From her own children dancing to her now granddaughter joining to continue the legacy, we hope you to will come join us and find your passion and love for dance at Jillian Rians Dance School.

New Student Registration

12:00–4:00 pm

$40 plus one month of tuition is due at the time of registration.
A credit card will be needed at the time of registration to be kept on file.

Returning Student Registration

Saturday August 3, 2024
10:00 am–3:00 pm

$40 plus one month of tuition is due at the time of registration. Any previous balances at the studio must be paid in full before you may register your child for the upcoming dance season.

If returning students cannot attend at this time, please join us on Sunday August 18, 2024
